Forma con colorazione violetta sembra ristretta all'area attorno ad Otranto, a bassa profondità.

Form with violet color seems restricted to the area around Otranto, at low depth

 
 

Specie abbastanza comune lungo le coste del Salento, quest'ultime foto che ritraggono la forma con colorazione verde sembra comune lungo il versante ionico della penisola salentina.

Quite common species along the coasts of Salento, the latter photos depicting the shape with green color seems common along the Ionian side of the Salento peninsula
